I just pulled my injectors out of my standard 1990 l98. The injectors seem to have been replaced at some stage but I'm not sure what with. They have orange tops with the word "python" and the number 26 crudely scribed into them. They also have 927 on the very bottom of these
Can anybody help me find out what they are?

Cheers.
I googled some of the key words you wrote above, and found several sites regarding fuel injectors. However you can compare what you see to the images on the sites if you do it. Unless you would like to post pictures for us.
I just googled " Python 26lb injectors" and came up with all sorts of photos that described what you have. check it out and see if any of those match what you have.
whenever you change injectors you either have to alter the fuel psi to get the lb/hr back where it was or re-tune.
if you're having issues with your injectors and they are larger than stock the tune in your ecu would be my first suspect
i know one trick that use to work well on the bone stock 85-91 car was to use the ford 19lb injectors and bump the fuel pressure a touch till you had a good reading at WOT on the wideband. the two biggest reasons i remember people doing this was
1. it was cheap, no one wants the orange 19 injectors
2. you did not have to re tune.
i did pull up the python site and they appear to be a re man outfit. i would give them a ring and ask what lb/hr the injectors you have actually are. it will give you some much needed knowledge on what to do next.
