Default 96 lt-4 OXYGEN SENSOR

Well it looks like it’s oxygen sensor time.
In doing my research I find I may have 2 sensors? If so do I replace both? If not how do I tell which one is bad? Also, are all oxygen sensors created equal or is one brand better than another?
I didn’t find a lot of info on the forum search
Thanks
Mike

AC Delco of NGK/NTK are my go to brands. Replace them both if you have the funds and time. There are 4 total but only the front two are used to determine fueling.

...and you know this how? If you have a code and Service Engine Soon light, it'll specify which sensor requires replacement.

I actually didn’t pull the code.
A friend of mine has the car and said the check engine lit came on and he ran the code
I’m just trying to gather some advance info so when I get it back I’ll be ready to make the switch
This is my 1st O2 experience
Thanks
Mike
