I have been told by more than one person that when I get on it, my car smokes quite a bit. I have also seen this in the rear view. The car is a stock LT1 with 62k on it. The car also seems to run great, but the smoke worries me a bit. Also when the car idles, it smells like it is running rich, or the previous owner gutted the cats.

The first step is check to see if any codes have been set. It could be that the O2 sensor(s) are bad sending a lean signal in closed loop to the ECM causing it to increase fuel. There are several other possibilities tho. Rather than throwing parts at it, check for codes first. :yesnod:
