Re: What is the difference between an Camaro LT1 plug wire set (PurpleC4)
I can say from first hand experience that the Vette wires are longer. I think it has to do with different routing. A friend of mine had put headers on his 95 Z-28 and he kept burning wires because he couldn't keep them away. We opened up my MSD wire box and found that my set had several wires that were plenty long enough for him to use, while his MSD Camaro wires were too short. He used them and bought me another set.
Re: What is the difference between an Camaro LT1 plug wire set (Springer's 95)
The coil wire is shorter on the camaro also...
And they've been known to "accidently" put the F-body's coil wire in the Vette's box! I was lucky enough to get a box that had the RIGHT ones in it. You have to make sure to get the Corvette specific wires and not just the ones for a LT-1.
Re: What is the difference between an Camaro LT1 plug wire set (R94 LT 1)
OK Guys,
Now you are getting to the heart of my question. I really want a few extra inches to play with and was hopeing that the Camaro wire set was longer than the Corvette, but it looks like it is the other way around. :( Bummer!
Thanks guys,
~ Purp

Agreed. Summit sent me a box of Taylors intended for a Camaro. Don't know if Summit or Taylor messed up...but all the wires, except for maybe two, were way too short.
