Default Running with KYB or Bilstiens?

This is not a which shock is better thread. Which shocks are you currently running on your vehicle?

Please note if you track your car, or if its a daily driver!

I have Bilsteins on my daily driver 03 Toyota Tacoma 4x4... nice shocks. Soft while cruising, but firm up nicely when off-road. I would like to get some for my Vette.

The PO of my Vette (older gentleman) replaced the factory shocks with some (no kidding) Midas "Gold Touring" shocks a few thousand miles before selling the car to me. I have driven on these shocks for 16k miles now, always with the intention of upgrading them to something good. But I have to shoot straight... these are not bad shocks! LOL!!! I hate to say it, but they really do ride nice. I don't race or autox or anything like that... and my car has the base suspension. But the shocks themselves really are not a weak link at the moment for my usage. So I guess I will keep them until they start to wear... then I will switch to either Bilstein or KYB.

Bilsteins on anything I own. Vette, Impala SS, 1989 Chevy 4WD. Never wore one out and they always seem to work best.

I have FX4 suspension. Original Bilstein on the back with regulators and KYB on the front. This is a daily driver.

Had to replace front but Bilstein (FX4) seems to be very costly - had to go with KYB for now.

Like rear shocks better. ))

I have Bilsteins on my 85. Street driven only.

I have had them on several cars all with good results. I have never worn one out either.

I still have my stock Z-51 B's in the car, and it has 80000 miles on it.

I am sure the shocks are shot. I was told by a road racer to send them to B and get them re-valved with the specs that the challenge cars used to use.

Street and soon to be road raced.

Bilstien on the track car. I don't like the non-adjustability so I picked up a set of QA1's I'll try out this year. Should be real useful for Atlanta Motor Speedway and Charlotte Motor Speedway Rovals.
