I have Bilsteins on my daily driver 03 Toyota Tacoma 4x4... nice shocks. Soft while cruising, but firm up nicely when off-road. I would like to get some for my Vette.
The PO of my Vette (older gentleman) replaced the factory shocks with some (no kidding) Midas "Gold Touring" shocks a few thousand miles before selling the car to me. I have driven on these shocks for 16k miles now, always with the intention of upgrading them to something good. But I have to shoot straight... these are not bad shocks! LOL!!! I hate to say it, but they really do ride nice. I don't race or autox or anything like that... and my car has the base suspension. But the shocks themselves really are not a weak link at the moment for my usage. So I guess I will keep them until they start to wear... then I will switch to either Bilstein or KYB.

Bilstien on the track car. I don't like the non-adjustability so I picked up a set of QA1's I'll try out this year. Should be real useful for Atlanta Motor Speedway and Charlotte Motor Speedway Rovals.
