When I remove the negative cable from the battery, will I have any start up problems in terms of having to reset anything? I know that with some cars certian things have to be reset and and also activates anti-theft systems with the stereo. Or is this just the case when both pos and neg are removed?
How do you reset the radio? It's a 95 with the Bose gold stereo
Select station, press the set button, and select the preset button. To set the time I believe you turn the radio off, press the set button, and use you up and down button to set ( hours on right, minutes on left).
After I removed my battery/cables, my car goes through a learning period where it runs like crap for the first day os two afterwards, then it starts running better.

Re: Removing negative cable from battery (BBA)
Yup, mine ran slightly less than perfect for about a day. Then, bam! That's what I did on Saturday... tore down the side panel, took out the battery, replaced MAF power and MAF burnoff relays, cleaned and rewrapped the connecting terminals, cleaned a couple ground connections, and replaced a couple vacuum hoses.
