Stock amplifier

i have a 1994 without the bose system and am putting in a new stereo. i have bought the wiring harness twice but it does not match the harness coming from the car. i was told there is a stock amplifier in it. i am not to sure if thats true or not. does anyone know if there is?

I believe there is a radio rec on the stock radio. look behind the seats in one of the storage compartments and see if it's there.
