I have a 1987 'vette. I am tired of placing wood on the floor to drive up on my rhino ramps. Would a set of race ramps alleviate the problem of using wood to stop the air dam from scraping and buckling when I drive onto the ramp? Thanks for your input.
Do the yardstick test described in the attachment. The standard 56" and 67" ramps have a 10.7˚ incline compared to a 17˚ incline on the ramps you are currently using. If you need something lower than that, we offer custom 2-stage incline ramps with an initial incline of 6.8˚.
Orders for Race Ramps service ramps placed before 31-Mar-2012 are eligible for the free wheel chock factory rebate offer.

Why???? Do you have that thing slammed to the ground?
The race ramps are great - I don't need them yet however I see a ton of them in the race paddock.

Hello jaa1992 & 1986 coupe,
No,my 'vette is stock. I'm just trying to find out if anyone with an '87 has purchased race ramps, and if the problem of bending/distorting the spoiler/airdam was resolved.I just want to be able to lay the ramps in front of my 'vette and drive on.I'm sick and tired of jacking it up a little or placing boards to get up on a set of ramps. Thanks for responding.
The standard 56" and 67" Race Ramps will work with a stock C4 without scraping the air dam. You can get a pair of one piece 56" Race Ramps with an 8" high platform for about $200. If you purchase the ramps by 31-Mar-2012 you qualify for a free set of heavy duty wheel chocks too.

Looks like you are all set.
I don't need then because my 92 and the wife's 04, both stock ride height, pull right on my dovetail trailer with just the short ramps that came with the trailer.
I have a slightly different issue on my C4. It is lowered, and as such I can't get the arms of my lift under it without putting a 3" block under the wheels.
Something like your Track-Jax with the angle on both sides (removable on one side so the lift arm can get under the car), so I can set them in place and drive over the rear set to get the car in place on the lift...that would work better for my purpose (using Track-Jax-S for the front of course).
I don't know if you do anything custom...just thinking out loud here. I was getting ready to buy some aluminum diamond plate and cut it/weld it, but I'd sure like the Race Ramps more.
P.S. I might need to order a set of trailer ramps as well...
Have the 56", 2 piece for my '95. You'll like them. Use them for all my cars, makes oil changes, etc. pretty easy. Get the wheel chocks, I use them as car stoppers in my garage when not using the ramps. No more tennis ***** on a string to determine where to stop. Plus, keeps the wife from crashing into the dining room.
If we can't find something in the standard product list that meets your requirements I can help you with a custom solution. The attachment shows the range of trailer ramps available.
