I think that is what it is called. It is a program that you can load onto a laptop computer, and monitor what is going on with you car in real time. I have seen them for other cars, but can't find one for a vette. Can someone help me out with this?
I'm using the Accel CALMAP system offered through Blower Drive Service. It's a realtime laptop type application. The previous owner of my car had the CALMAP module mounted under the passenger seat. I connect to the serial port just behind the seat which allows the car to be checked or tuned by the passenger while rolling down the road if necessary.
I'm still no expert on using this setup, but BDS has a dedicated technician and an '800' line available for assistance. He walked me through a tune-up (actually a rich mixture induced idle problem) like a breeze. The guy was very intuitive and solved my problem directly. I highly suggest a laptop programmable system.
