Flashing SYS light after new stereo install.

I installed a new a stereo in 1994 Vette and have a flashing SYS light. I have read that I need to install a resistor. Could anyone help with this ?

Thought the resistor thing was for 90-93 models but found it for you.

BTW: a 5 pack of resistors cost around 2.50 at the Shack.

Thanks Churchkey. I did not know that fix was for the 90-93 Vettes. Any suggestions on how to fix my 94 ?

Am not a good audio guy, just went through the resistor BS changing the head on my 90 last summer.

Just a thought, if your vehicle is an early production unit the TSB fix may apply. Maybe pull the head & check your wire colors against the listed TSB colors. If the colors match the resistor install may fix your problem however this is speculation on my part.

The vehicle build date is on the VIN sticker, left door jam.
