Default anti-freeze leaking

My 88 vette has developed a anti-freeze leak. At first I thought it was the water pump but there doesn't appear to be any leaking from the weeper holes. Can the water pump leak anywhere besides the weeper hole? It appears to be dripping off the front crossmember at a steady pace. No water in oil and no white smoke.

The gaskets between the block and the WP, the heater lines, the radiator hoses, the shaft seal on the WP. I would get a pressure tester from Harbor Freight or Northern and press up the system and use a mirror and a flashlight to find out where it's coming from.

Checked the rad hoses. Also all heater hoses look good as I have done a throttle body bypass a few months ago. I live in Huntington Beach,Ca so cold weather is not an issue. So I don't think it would be a freeze plug? I will get a presure tester as soon as possible and try that.

Got a presure tester and still can not locate the leak. When I put it under presure there is a steady drip coming off the crossmember. I also used a mirror to look at the bottom weeper hole and it was dry. As stated earlier I have done a TB bypass. Are there any water hoses under the water pump or lower engine?

If you have an oil cooler, the coolant hoses run under the engine from the passenger side to the driver side along the engine to just above the oil filter.

Checked all lines and hoses didn't see any leak. Today I'm taking the water pump off. Should I leave the frisbee off the pully? What was the purpose of it does anyone know?

To the freeze plug comment, the term freeze plug was given by the after market parts supplier world not engine manufacturers. these were in design sand plugholes so the foundry could remove all sand after molding the block. temp. in Huntington Beach has nothing to do with a freeze plug going bad. the factory uses steel plugs, and these rot out in time. i would look real close at the freeze plug under the motor mount. if thats where it is ,replace with brass. 4 to 5 bucks a piece, but worth it. good luck finding

Well I found the leak. It was leaking where the water pump mounted to the block. The gaskets was leaking but I went ahead and changed the water pump. Total of 7 hours to replace. Sucking gas and smoking tires again. Thanks all

The frisbee was installed with the new style A/C compressor to dampen on/off at idle. I would remove the frisbee and install the pulley with a thick lock washer under each bolt head; verify that installed bolts do not hit anything behind the pulley.

I've had the frisbee off for >11 yrs with no ill effects and a gain of 10chp shown by a 1mph gain in 1/4 mile trap speed.

Good job, finding the leak. Mine was leaving the occasional drip spot. Only place I could see the drip was at the front of the drivers side head. After I replaced the head gasket, I replaced the water pump gasket and fixed it.
