84 vette, right door handle does nothing

84 vette, right door handle does nothing

You push down on the handle and it does nothing. Springs back up though. Can open from the inside. Did the lock/unlock thingee still does nothing. thx can't shoot it - I love my vette.

do you have a picture of that? those handles that push down and spring back up are pretty rare. specially on a C4

I have never seen one that pushes down to open on a 84 vett. they all pull up. is this an after market mod. either way if it opens from inside and not out the linkage arm has probably come off. time to pull the door panel and PITA inner and check it out. good luck

I've got the pull up handle style on my 84. Are you sure you want the Corvette forum and not Peterbuilt?
