Default PS Leak

'92 Vert, "P" VIN

Looks like I have a leak right at the clamp/ hose beneath power steering pump. Fluid is running down hose and dripping on cross member below harmonic balancer.

Can anyone advise best way to get to the clamp and tighten? I don't see how removing the S-belt is going to help. If I have to pull everything off, I was thinking about replaceing entire pump at same time.

Is it the rubber hose?

If so just replace the thing and be done.
No easy way to get to it.

Can't tell if it's the hose or loose clamp. PO let the car sit for years. Guessing top of hose dried and then when I started driving car, pressure pushed PS fluid out of top by clamp/ PS pump end.

I think you're right. I'll start looking for a PS pump and hose.

Does anyone have a good part source? I don't trust ANY dealer.

If it is just the rubber hose, you can get that anywhere, just cut to fit. If it is he high pressure line, then I like this...www.rockauto.com/

I didn't get any further than this post. Here is my experience.

It initially looks like the low pressure line from the resevoir to the pump is leaking. You take it all apart, replace the rubber hoses, use double clamps, put it all together. Turn it on and you still have a leak!
Its the high pressure hose - call Doug Rippie order a new hose.
Take car to mechanic with new hose and a couple bottles of power steering fluid (I use red line synthetic). Few hundred $$$ later car is not leaking power steering fluid, couple other race car bits taken care of and I'm back on track.

I heartily reccomend replacing all the rubber lines, put on new clamps (single will be fine), and replace the high pressure hose.

This is the reason I asked is the rubber hose leaking?

The early LT1's had a Recall issued for the high pressure line leaking. Due to vibrations at higher RPM's they can fail. If this the line that is leaking, I second the DR motorsports line. I'm waiting for mine to fail, it will someday, the way I drive, unless the Recall was done. No record of it, so I do not know.
