New owner... Starting issues??

Hello everyone... I'm a new owner of a 1992 coupe...(pick it up tomorrow).. There is an issue with the car the PO explained to me....the car starts right up and dies.. Then when you start it again it fires right up and runs fine... It does this every time and sets a cel... I haven't scanned the codes yet... But wondering what You guys think of this...I took the car for a good ride.. It pulls hard idles fine...

History of the car.. Previous owner replaced the motor 6 yrs ago(tells me something took out the oil pan).. Car has 100k motor has 24k... Since he has owned it (8yrs ) he has averaged less than 1k miles a yr..car was last on the road 2 yrs ago

Thoughts opinions

Let us know when you get the codes. Also how old are the tires?

The car received.. New tires, opti spark, fuel filter,computer and battery.. Two month ago.. PO thinks that they might have sent him the wrong computer..

I know it's tough to diagnose without codes.. Just wanted some thoughts... So I can have an idea if this might be a major issue..
