Shock for an '88 Vette are unique to that year, not sure why.

Suspension changed from 88-96. Different components used on 1984-1987. It may fit but if it is longer then you may not get the car handling the way it should. If there is an additional inch of travel then the cars front end may bounce at highway speed

I have a pair of Bilsteins
F4-B46-1177-MO .
According to VBP they will fit all c4s , someone at Bilstein says no they wont . (second hand info also )
On the same decal it says VBp1001 which is VBPs part # They told me to call Bilstein .
I cant find the info on Bilsteins site .
These are supposed to be the extreme shocks .
Also like to know what the MO stands for . VBP didnt know either .
