Default A quick question for the pros

Today I put in 8 rebuilt injections from Fuel Injector Connection Inc along with an fuel pressure regulator from a company called BWD. I was so happy the car fired right up with the engine running as smooth as glass ( The misfire was gone!) The engine rev's just as fast as a small block should ( That was not happening before) The fuel pressure with the motor running was a rock steady 36 pounds ( Was 42 with the needle going up and down 2 pounds each way before)....so everything seemed great, right up till I shut the car off, Unlike before were the FP gauge would read 42 pounds and hold that pressure now with the new setup the pressure drops pretty fast from 36 pounds to 20 then holds the 20 pounds. There is no fuel leaking anywhere I can see. Bad Injector? Any ideas? Thanks

If you had a bad injector the pressure would drop to ZERO! You should be good.

ive got FIC injectors and a adjustable FPR and mine does exactly the same thing, drops into the 20's quite quickly then sits there for a while, and everything works fine

Many aftermarket regs don't hold pressure with the pump off.
All my Aeromotive ones drop straight to zero
So long as the pressure is stable when pump running you have no problems
