Car won't turn off..
Got in my car today started it (which was fine) until I noticed that the antilock light was on. So I figured I would just turn her off and restart. My baby would not turn off. The key was stuck in the run position. So when I got home I disconnected the battery to kill the engine. After playing with it, I was able to turn the column to the off position to take the key out. So my question: Do I need a new ignition switch or ignition lock cylinder? Also do you think this has some thing to do with the antilock light staying on?
thanks,
Raul
Make sure your transmission is fully engaged in park when trying to remove the key. I had to get some adjustment on an '85 I used to own and it worked just great. It could possibly be the ignition switch but I doubt it.
