High idle?

High idle?

Well today temps were in the high 30*f and i decided to start the vette.. What I noticed there was hardly a high idle.. Cold start at temps in the 30*f idle was only 975rpm...it drops to 550 when fully warm..Is this normal or should I see a higher idle while warming up??

Thoughts..

It's a 92..I expected a higher idle at that temp to warm up..

Maybe your IAC is gummed up and not properly retracting.

That is about what my 93 idles at when cold.
