Default Replacing thick felt block for side windows

Has anyone ever replaced the the thick felt block (Kinda looks like a thick 4" brush) that is located toward the inner front of the door .....it rides against the window. Mine is cashed and needs to be replaced since it it scratching the hell out of my side windows. I can't find a part number or a name for this item. Also, how does it attach to it's mounting bracket??

Plumb95: I have a 89 Garage Queen Coupe and the drivers side window has excessive upward travel. This excessive travel has damaged the "inexpensive" side roof weatherstrip. I looked in several manuals for help and could not find out how to adjust the side window uptravel. In addition, I have sent several notes to the Forum and did not get a response! I was in Bowling Green two weeks ago (business) and asked for help on my window problem while touring the GM Vette plant. To my surprise, they gave me the name of a retired employee who works at the Corvette Museum across the street. This dude was the "door man" on the C4 assembly line. I went to the musuem and found John Watts. John took me in the back part of the office and pulled manuals off the shelf until he found an illustration. I could not believe how helpful this guy was and he gave me his email address and said: Contact me anytime you need help on door problems. Bottom line and sorry to be so long: Send me an email and I will give you his address. He will help you!!!
Regards, Sam :)

Anyone ever replace the electric motor? I think mine is out. You can see it in the bottom picture. Is the motor just the cylinder part or is it also part of the gear box looking assembly?
