stupid headlight problem???

stupid headlight problem???
ok stupid question here...after driving home today in a rainstorm with my headlights on i got home and shut them off,,,first the drivers side stayed open, so i turned them on and off again,,,,now they are both open with no signs of movement at all??? is there a relay somewhere that could have shorted them out?? figured id ask here before i even take a second look at the problem,,,,thanks.........

On the front side of your driver's wheel well there is a small plastic box. Behind that are 3 relays. There is one isolation relay, and two other relays (1 for each motor). Perhaps the isolation one went out? Did they show any signs of failure previously? If not, and BOTH went, I would suspect the isolation one.

Mine did this once and they worked after a couple of tries, then a few weeks later they went out for good. This time I changed the relay and all was good. Sounds like your situation.
