Default exhaust help me decide
I want to convert my exhaust system from 1 pipe to 2 pipes

Iam planing to use the existing (Y) pipe. cut the end and separated into 2 pipe 2.5 inch. with a some kind of magnaflow muffler at the end. (those kind of mufleers that is allmost free flow)

I when today to the shop. and the person there tell me that I need some kind of smaller muffler in the mid or the bigining of the exhaust. because, if I dont do that my end muffler will be destroy in a couple of month.

the thing is, this mid mufler cost money. and I did not have them on my butget.

do I really need this extra mufflers or no?????

like to get your expert opinion

Skip mufflers all together and stick some tips on them

so I really dont need that extra muffler in the middle right?????. I like to keep the 2 end muflers since they are like almost free flow.and also I already have them at Hove

Just leave the middle thingy out and go with the real mufflers. It'll be fine.

The only thing the middle muffler/resonator does is further muffles the exhaust. You are fine, your exhaust shop is wrong.
