I used a nardi which resembles the Momo adapter. I also had to get the spacer/adapter from Sick Speed to get the wheel to mount to the adapter. I was just about ready to press the adapter on the splines when I realized there were no drilled & tapped holes for a puller if it had to come back off. I drilled & tapped two holes in it and got it all together. It was a pia but I like the look of the new wheel. I checked ebay and right now the nardi adapter is not listed.

Default Was it tilt and telescopic?

Was it tilt and telescopic? Momo adapter? Did the horn and telescopic work out? Diameter? I'm getting ready to do my 85 and it looks like you're my answer man.

If the leather is not torn you can restore it like I did.

After sanding off the old color

another shot

Finished product. Primer from Lowe's and vinyl paint & clear from NAPA.

Default Stitched

Was the 84-85 wheel stitched? Look at this one. Looks molded.

I have been trying to find the correct hub adapter so I can run a racing steering wheel. Does anyone know the correct hub adapter to run a quick release?

Good question worthy of its own thread.
