* I'll check the plugs and plug wires this weekend. I think there maybe some burnt plug wires causing the dead miss.
* The FPR is reading 45-50psi at idle.
* My exhaust has no Cats so there nothing to get clogged.
Today as I drove it home from Va Beach to Newport news it ran with a dead miss under load, but at an idle it ran fine. They (Va Speed) mentioned there was dead miss under load as they tuned it, but needed more time to find the cause which would have driven up the my final bill. Ahhhh NO THANKS!
At the time when I did the 1st dyno I knew I needed to mod my intake and exhaust systems in order for the engine to breath and make HP. After the intake and exhaust mods were made. I didn't get it dyno during that time, but I know my HP and TQ had increase significantly from my time slip at the 1/8 mile track. I before the installation of my current cam and ecu.
My car went from an 1.90 60' 8.80 1/8 mile @ 78mph to running 1.61 60' and 7.75 1/8mile @92mph with a mail order tune for a 870 ecu.
If there was a dead miss, that's why the #'s are low. Why the hell would they continue to try to tune it with a cylinder not firing?!!!

No kidding. I used to do some tuning with a local speed shop. We had a guy come in one day in a C4, had a stealth ram and it looked to be very interesting. He burned up a plug wire on one of his headers and we couldn't find a replacement. We un-strapped the car and told him to come back when he could get that resolved. Otherwise we were just wasting everybody's time.

I would also recommend bigger heads when you do your intake swap, esp if you go mini ram. Minimum 195s, I like to run 210s on my 350s and 210s would be the smallest Id use on a 383. No, it wont be a dog down, it will make the same or even more power than smaller heads. Your EFI, not carbed, so it works very well.

Part of the problem is the shop he took it to. They aren't good tuners to begin with, plus there have been several cars that they have half-assed. Bottom line with VA Speed is that if you aren't spending $20k, they could give a crap less. It's more of get em in get em out thing.

Does your C4 pull harder then the C5? If the answer is yes then the dyno reading is messed up.

I checked out the Plugs and plug wires. The #1 plug wire was burnt.

All the Spark plugs on the driverside was cover with fuel and a slight burn spot. See Pic:

All the plugs on the passenger side were fouled:

I replace the burnt plug wire. I'll do the plugs this tomorrow.
