My o2 sensor is install on the exhaust. but the previus owner cut the wire. about 5 inch long from the sensor. dont know why they cut it.

now I have a o2 sensor with a wire that go no where.
I like to plug this back.

but dont see the other end . dont know where to look.

any body have a photo. or drawing of this . so I can get a general idea where to start looking.

I know is supust to have some kind of plug.

02 wire is in the small harness that comes over side of block above the oil filter
Has lots of black wires that go to the big bolt on side of block
Should be a purple wire

You can find the wire coming from the ECM and solder the two wires together after removing the connector from the one from the ECM or you can get a new O2 sensor, which will come with a wire with the connector. They are about $ 20.00 here in the USA but probably more expensive where you are.

The O2 sensor wire comes out of the same corrugated loom as the block grounds and the oil temperature sender. I downloaded this picture from somewhere recently. The O2 sensor wire is the violet one wrapped around the wiring loom in this picture. It has the same one-pin connector as the EGR temperature switch and the EST connector.

The other wire might be for the oil temperature sender. It's just below the ground bolt in the picture.
