1984 exhaust ??

I am going to be getting a exhaust system (everything but headers). Im just wondering what type/brand would be the best for the best/loudest sound. Also what about an x-pipe. Any suggestions appreciated.

Current mods: headers and cam.

After a closer look the stock exhaust manifold looks very effective. Does anyone know what kind of performance increases I can expect?

That's an individual judgement, but I felt a SOTP difference going to long tubes on my stock engine. At the same time, I changed to Flowmaster mufflers.

Short and long tubes are optimized for different RPM ranges, but as I learned and strongly recommend, the plastic underhood parts degrade from the added heat from uncoated headers.
