Default Electric problem with WB02 update!

Hey fellas,

Thanks for all your help! The WB02 is back in action! It was the power voltage regulator as many of you indicated. Thanks a million for the help.

I finally got to see were my setup is running. At idle and cruise it was right around 14.7 +/- .3 This is what was expected since the car is in closed loop and the ecm is controlling the A/F ratio. Still it was nice to see that all was working as expected in closed loop.

I opened her up and the instant the power enrichment kicks in the A/F ratio pegs out at 10.1  :smash:

That might explain my slower than expected ET's at the strip in conjunction to the extremely low stall converter.

Guess I will have to lighten up the fuel tomorrow to get it around 12.1 and start working my way up from there to find best performance.

Glad to see its very rich as expected rather than lean and be worrying about possible engine damage all this time.

I'm glad I waited to tune the fuel curves this way. Now I know exactly were I stand and don't have to worry about possibly leaning it out too much and ruining something. It sure is going to make life easy.

What would you guys do first. Add more timing which should lean it out some, but probably not enough. Or lean it up with fuel changes and then play with timing.

Give me your thoughts.

Also thanks a million for all your help. It really a huge burden off my shoulders. This is to all that helped

After all your anticipation of wide band tuning-I'm glad you got it fixed right away! They are great tools. I'd work on the F/A ratio first-also how's the "pump shot" look? Mine would spike lean when you first hit the gas-I had to increase the lv8 accel enrich factor vs delta lv8 by 30%-and it made a big diff. Have fun tuning!
