On a related note... I need to know what the connector part number or the pigtail part number is for the connector that plugs into the oil temperature sensor. After the fire in my engine, the plastic is completely melted away and the only thing left is the metal terminal plugged into the sensor. Since the plastic is gone I have no idea what it should look like.
I need to fix this because the insulation is melted off the wires and bare copper is showing.
What I don't know is WHICH ONE to order. Since the original connector shell is melted and gone, I can't tell from the pretty pictures which one is the one I need. The TechConnect site shows 46 female one pin connectors, so it would be a little impractical to buy all of them to get the one correct part.
