shifter problems HELP!!!
OK Here is the deal. My friend has a 92 with a 6spd roadster.
He just had his clutch done and now he has problems.
If you are going above 45 mph and if you are in 3 or 4th and the car will not shift into 4th from 3rd or from 4th to 5. The shifter will only go to nutral.
However under 45mph it shifts fine. He thinks it is in the shift linkage. Shop is saying it is syncros. He did not have this problem before he took the car in the shop.
Clutch works OK. Car has 93K on it.

OK problem found.. The mechanic reconnected the connector under the car and the solinoid was defective. They pulled the wire again and it si fine.
We never consider it because it was disconnected.
Go figure...
