94 auto trans problems
I have a 94 vette, with a auto transmission and my problem is when I shift my vette into park, it will still roll back. It feels like the gears don't in gauge like their suppose too. For example, if I park anywhere with a slight incline, the vette will roll back. I need to set the parking brake all the time, so the vette doesn't roll away. What could be the problem?

jack the car up when the car is in park. Remove the cotter pin on the cable linkage going to the tranny shift lever on the driver's side. Pull the cable end off the lever and see if it will push farther forward into park. If it does, adjust the linkage bolt at the lever. If it doesn't push forward, then your parking pawl in the tranny is busted.
