I took the two iac,s out of my 1984 Corvette to clean them, they didn't look bad but my question is can the pintles be moved by pushing on them? I couldn't move them back like the book says to make sure they won't bottom out on the seats.I haven't ohm ed them yet but if they ohm good but still may not move in engine because stuck,so they could still be bad.with the engine running and the tester hooked up the I AC counts do change a bit, but that just says the computer is sending the info only, it doesn't mean the I AC is actually moving.correct?
Also on the Plentum gasket, does it leak allot ,I need to check this to.
Anybody having any experience on these problems please help

Leaks in your plenum gasket is an absolute no no! In fact, leaks in any gasket is a no no. This plenum gasket is a challenge to get sealed properly, since it's so long and skinny, and a lot of L83 engine builders have problems with vacuum leaks in this area.
