My '93 6-speed sticks in a gear everyone once and a while and doesn't want to shift, or getting into a gear is sometimes a bit tough. Had the clutch redone a month or two ago. Any suggestions?
Mine had a similar problem. Drained out what was definitely not the 5w30 gear oil recommended by ZF. Put in the right stuff and it's just keeps getting smoother every time I drive it. De-sludging I suspect. The thinner oil gives a bit more gear noise but is better for taking away heat.
One other thought is a sticking clutch slave cylinder, but they should have noticed that when they did the clutch. This might shine some light into some of the dark corners of the ZF6;
