I had an aftermarket stereo installed and now "sys" is flashing on my gauges. I've been told that some resistors need to be installed but I've been to 2 different car audio places, and neither know what I'm talking about. Can someone please tell me what I need to ask for?
Thank you so much! Do you think it has anything to do with a couple of things that don't show up on my gauge now, like the F symbol for full on fuel gauge and on the speedometer the left side of the number is not showing. For instance 18 looks like 13?
Also check your battery connections are clean and tight.
I had a loose connection cause the SYS to appear. Others also have said a weak battery will cause it - during the radio install I bet things like doors stayed open for a long time with interior lights on, could have run the battery down a bit.
