Default headlight noise

Hey guys. When I turn my headlights on they flip up and the headlight on the right makes a clicking noise for about 5 seconds after the lights come up. It does the same thing when I turn them off. It is embarrassing when it makes that noise. Cant I adjust the headlight motor or something to make it stop when it opens?

Knowing what yr the car is helps with knowing what headlite actuators you have.

But, more than likely that "clicking" noise is what $150 sounds like as it leaps from your wallet......Depends on what yr model and actuator.

Do a search on "Headlight Bushings". It's an easy/cheap fix.

Thanks I found a video on youtube after doing a search on here. I just repaired a window motor on my old pickup truck the same way.

Default The bushings are not expensive!

Not too hard to replace, either.

The noise is kind of a thump, thump, thump, thump?
