I kept getting the same code 51 on my 84. I even had trouble starting mine with that code. I pulled the computer each time and reset the prom. I finally got tired of the code coming back and ordered a new prom from dynamic crossfire solutions. There website is www.crossfireinjection.net Just go to there products page and read about the chip. I bought mine 3 years ago and no code 51. Hope this helps...
