Default Temp

Recently purchased a 96 and would like to know the correct temp for the coolant and oil after complete warm-up?

Normal temp for warmed up coolant is between 200 and 230. Fan does not even come on until 228 (If I remember right).

If the car has never been monkeyed with the coolant temps will be higher than you would expect. Oil temps generally are a little less than coolant temp for regular cruising, short trips. If you beat on it a hot your oil temps will easily get higher than coolant temps.
