Default coolant sensor wiring questionsss

When I had my car tuned, I told my tuner that my engine temps were different. I was wondering why my analog coolant sensor had a plug in it and no wiring. The water pump coolant sensor has the wiring from the analog and the digital wiring harness wires going to it. I guess they tried to get the same readings in one gauge. Should I repair and put it back to original wiring and location of the sensor on the passenger head? My fans are running 24/7 and I am trying to figure out why..

Because of reverse cooling, temp gauge on LTX does not accurately reflect true engine temp from the head
so a 3 wire sensor that combines the CTS for the PCM and the temp gauge sensor
for gauge in one unit is used to get engine temp from same location on WP that the computer does

is this correct?

ts either a faulty sensor or the circuit has an open intermittently like a pinched or cut through wire.

The sensor is a resistor sensitive to temperature, as the temp changes the resistance does as well. Find the connector, unplug it and jump the connections with a paper clip or jumper wires. A temp value should come up. It might read freezing cold like -40*C or really hot like 140*C, that just shows the circuit is fine and the problem is the sensor.

The cooling fan is constantly on and the a/c doesn't work cause its a fail-safe mode done by the pcm. It doesnt know the engine temp so it wont allow the a/c to come on which would create more of a load and more heat, and it runs the fans to be safe as to not overheat. Just features to protect the engine.

The cooling fan is constantly on .
Have you done the most basic of tests to work out WHAT is actually making the fan run?
Relay operation / relay frozen closed / etc

You are blaming sensors that may not be involved.
For example ;
if the CTS was faulty and sending the wrong engine temp to the PCM the fan being on
would be the least of your worries.
Your engine would be running like cr*p without correct temp input

Spend the money and buy the manual. Good grief.
