After 2 days of acquiring my corvette,tried to cleaned her up.of course except for the engine bay area,wash the body and interior,out of excitement and first time to drive a corvette,plan to spin her inside the village i dont know what happen but when i insert the key and turn it to start the engine i heard like i broke something....D@#n its the key,i broke my key inside,half of the key was inside and the other half can be remove the one with chips?sensor i guess.woohh what a day.called a key master expert he remove the key assembly.and the remaining key.need to duplicate the key.so my mechanic make like he dis able the imobilizer thing,i dont know what hes talking about so that without those key with sensor he can start the engine.but the thing is were not lucky.it doest react from the engine or start or something,all the dashboard light is working when the key is on,but it doesnt start.so hes working again under the steering wheel,saw so many wires,now he start it responce but can go through,he has this computer thing in hand and he show me that the injectors has a positive supply but theres no negative puls? from the ECU box.sorry guys im more on muscle car carburated thing,but not this electronic thingy,any help,advice and suggestion is higly appreciated.New ECU no problem as long that we can address the problem.

If the CCM does not get the correct resistance from the pellet on the key it will not crank and also the pulsses to the injectors are disabled. So no crank and no fuel = no start.
Take your VIN #, registration, and the broken key to your dealer and they will cut you a new key for about $20. And tell the mechanic that doesn't have a clue what he is doing to STOP before he damages something.
