Well the other day I noticed while I was working on the a/c that the outdoor temp sensor was stuck on 40*f ... Checked connections all were fine.. Decided to disconnect battery and see if it resets...and it did... But something else I noticed.. The car no longer stalls out on the first light up like it use to... And the idle seems a bit higher at 675 in park...
So my question is could disconnecting the battery have fixed these gremlins.. I have always cleared previous codes using my Mac taskmaster.. This is the first time I actually disconnected the battery..
Thoughts opinions?
What does disconnecting the battery reset?? (other than clearing codes)

Disconnecting the battery will reset the fuel trims and other "learned" values the ECM uses. They reset back to a default, if you have some sort of issue, the ECM may compensate over time to help correct this issue, however that compensation may have been causing your idle issue. I would drive it and see what happens with a some miles on it.
