Default Need some ideas please

I had a water pump fail awhile back and decided to replace other parts while i was in there, so water pump, opti, coil, wires, plugs, timing chain set, fired right up drove 5 miles stumbled and died, had to be flatbeded home, I thought it was the icm , bought a GM one and still no go, Im getting spark at the coil but not at the plugs, does it sound like the opti? BTW all MSD parts. Anything else I should check before I tear it back down and sent opti back ? 92 with 97K miles

Probably the rotor screws that fell out.
You didn't expect them to send it with them tight did you?
At the 1 buck and labor they really don't care....
If you are lucky the screws came out and the rotor fell off if not might as well order the cap and rotor and just return what you do not need.
If you are lazy as I can be at times the tools are still out and ready to go..

Joe,
Just an FYI but my buddy across the street went through two new defective MSD units for his CSX Cobra before he got a good one. They were direct from the factory. This was one month ago. Cap and rotor would be the next thing to check.

If you have a spark at the coil and not at the plug it is either the cap the rotor or all the plug wires..

And that is why I suggested THAT as the next check to make. I only brought up the MSD info because he said he was using MSD parts. Their quality isn't what it used to be.
