i am having a high idle problem.The car idles in park at 1000-1300 and drive800-1000. I have done everything i can think of.no vacuem leaks,changed iac,no codes ecxept for maf burnoff ,replaced maf with known good one.Know one has messed with the idle since the plug is still in.someone told me if that injectors are leaking that might cause an idle problem so i cleaned the injectors. still having a problem. :(
I have already taken of the TB cleaned it ,and nothing.i have a snap-On scanner and everything looks ok. if anyone out there has any parameters i can go by such as block learn #'s . as far as i can hear and see there are no vacuem leaks unless there is one that might be a common problem on these engines that i might not be aware of.

There are so many places for a vacuum leak it's nutz!
On your scanner at idle (should be warmed up)
Loop status (open /closed)
Desired idle
Actual idle
IAC steps
MAF gm
throttle position % or voltage or both
coolant temp
engine load
IAT temp
timing advance
manifold absolute pressure if available
knock counts
knock retard
Also follow TPS through a full throttle range with the car off / ign on. Should be smooth and see what you get for voltage from start to WOT.
