Proper clearance between throttle shaft and bushing
I am in the process of rebuilding my throttle body and have noticed the stock shaft is .372" and bores in the housing are worn. I had to turn down one end of the shaft and will be re-boring the housing and putting in oil impregnated bushings.
I am safe to assume that the stock bore would have been .375"? That would leave .0015" clearance per side, or should I tighten up the clearance?
The one end of my shaft ended up cleaning up at .365" and I found a re-ground endmill I have at .368"
