No. I just use mine to program the radiator cooling fans to come on at 213 F instead of the stock default 230 F
My '95 feels stronger using the stock GM engine ECM tuning logic. The HPP+ tuning seemed to actually cut down on the low end torquey feeling I have come to love about my LT1. Maybe the HPP+ might give a slight edge on the upper end, but if so it's at the expense of lower to mid rpm power and that's where I am 97% of the time, so...
Lone Ranger, thanks for the response. I just bought a HPP+, off ebay. My primary reason for the purchase was fan reprogramming and speedo recalibration. I don't think I will even install the performance program, I've yet to hear anything positive as far as performance gains.
