I replaced the oil pressure sender on my 87. I removed the wiper motor, reached in, unplugged the connection, unscrewed old one; screwed new one in, put connection back on, replaced wiper motor. Check out service manual on removing wiper motor. Not difficult.

Is the part that you guys are referring to the "Fuel pressure switch and oil pressure sensor", combined in one unit?

The oil pressure switch is located on the drivers side of the engine just below and behind the distributor. It is about 1 1/2" in diam and is just below the oil temp switch and has only one wire running to it.

I replaced mine last night, wasn't to hard to do, kind of a PITA. I pulled the wiper motor and then I found it easiest to use locking pliers on the sensor itself. My old one was silver, the new one is black. I was showing 5 psi when the key was on and car off, now I show 2 psi. Why doesn't it go to 0 psi? :smash:
