Bad VSS and Driveabilty
Brand new member and have enjoyed this site. Bought 1985 c4 and will
take possession in 5 days. VSS code 24 shows on start-up. No speedometer or counter. Car runs great with 27k miles. Have done my research on this site will more closely inspect when I get it home. The drive will be 70 miles at highway speed. I understand that this sensor supplies several components with information. Will other systems in the car be compromised on this trip? Drive it/fix it first/flatbed it? Thank you all.
