Pushrod Length
OK, so I have an L98 that I just put an LT4 Hotcam in and Scorpion 1.6 rockers. As I was using my adjustable pushrod for checking I am getting an optimal length of somewhere between 7.0 and 7.05 inches - with the stock number being 7.2 inches. The interesting part is that when I go down to 7 inches to get the optimal pattern on the valve stem I am only thousandths away from the rocker arm bottoming out on the stud. Has anybody else run this combination, and if so, what pushrod length did you wind up using? I have both 7.05" and 7.1" coming in tomorrow and I am going to choose what looks best and send the others back. Thanks!
