looking for new 700R4
where would you buy a good performance 700R4 for street and strip performance in an 86 corvette i have had a rebuild and other things done and can't get it right so i figure i am just now going to bit the bullet and buy a new one and i need it by thursday points race this weekend..

Go to: http://www.skspeed.com/ and click on the transmission section. You will see the modified trans that you need. Thanks to Scorp, I found the trans that I need.

They don't make them new anymore, Good one!
Call Hughes perfromance in Arizona, 602-257-9591, and they will ship one to your door. They supply the GM performance parts 4L60 (700R4). I put one in Feb 2000, still going strong. Use a cooler.

They take a old core and rebuild it. OK !

Lingenfelter apparently uses Rossler transmissions. That's a good recommendation.
