Cleaning Lifters?
I have a set of roller lifters that I want to clean. I have removed the retainer clip and the pocket the push rod sets in and the flat disk that sits under the push rod pocket. In one exploded view I have sceen there is a cup that is supposed to come out. I have been unable to get it out. Should I just clean what I have taken apart and be sastisfied? Your input please!

guess I'm just chicken. I'd buy new lifters if they were cruded up enough I had to clean them.
