About other pictures, I have always wondered what the cowl hoods look like from the driver's seat. If you happen to have a picture of it with the hood closed from the driver's seat, I would love to see it.
Hi Tim, I really don't have any big plans to change the engine combo. I mainly got the hood because I like the way it looks.
So you do have something that your thinking about changing on your combination, since you said " I really don't have any big plans to change the engine combo." I guessing an intake change because of the increase hood height.

I have no plans of changing anything. I will leave the intake the way it is. Tony Mamo worked over my Miniram so I will leave it alone. But the taller hood does open up intake options.

Ahhh a nice single plane super Vic intake , 1500 cfm 4 barrel style throttle body and a nice pan to box in the cowl hood would be nice ..
I actually tried a converted Super vic intake years ago with a plenum box adapter by Jeb Burnett on my old 421. My NOS set up is a wet system plate. I tuned the new intake combo real well and lost .3 and 3mph with it. I think the plenum box adapter and wet nitrous system didn't work well together. I put my miniram back on and regained my .3 and 3mph. The super vic and plenum box didn't work for me. But with just a 4 bbl style throttle body and a nos plate, I have a feeling it would be a different situation...hmmm!

I would love to see more sheet metal intakes on ltx cars here. Like the ltx camaro guys do and make 800, 900rwhp out of their blown ltx cars (power like the FI LSx vette guys make on this website).
I think 'Hogan' was a company that makes custom sheet metal intakes for LTx. Very pricey, but much different than 'just another 800 rwhp LSx build'.
Im not sure if you would need a high rise hood for these kinds of intakes, but definitely opens up more options!

I believe every hogan intake is Custum made to what ever dementions you give them. I have been looking at one for a while just don't have the extra 3200.00 $. They said they can build one that will still fit under the stock hood.
