Default 84 ECM removal

I know the opinion is that changing the chip in an 84 is not worth it ...but I'm doing it anyway.
I have a shop manual and it shows how to get to the chip, but it simply says remove the hush panel and remove the ECM -when I look up in there, After removing the hush panel, I can't really tell what srews to take out - has anyone done a set of instructions for this?

If it's the same as my 88, there is 2 10mm bolts attached to a tan colored plastic cradle that holds the ECM in the dash.I would think you can't miss em'.

Thanks, that is exactly what I found -but the carrier in the 84 is black as pointed out in the later post.
My big problem is seeing up close unless I take out my contacts and have good light ... I did that and then I could "see" what you indicated ... dam old age is catching up!
When I could "see" it and how easy it was to get out, I felt like an idiot
Thanks, Glen

^^I hate my eyes going bad......I used to be able to see better than terrific, now, I need reading glasses......so when you are too close to something (i.e. under the car or under the hush panel) it is impossible to see.

I have all these different glasses in different magnification for different scenarios. and they all fall off while trying to work on cars.

All that matters is that we can see the Christmas tree. We can fumble around with everything else.

After the change have you noticed any difference? If so, what?
