My brother has a '94 Z-28 Camaro with a Holley throttle body on it and he his going to sell the car. Can I make that throttle body fit on my 87 TPI Vette? I can do modifications if needed. If it can be made to fit, should I put mine on his car to sell, or save mine along with the other original parts I have taken off the car?
Given mild overall timing, what is the closest camshaft lobe center that can be tuned with the factory computer and TPI? 108? 110? 112?
the throttle body will fit.. but the cable is way different. The IAC & TPS are different... sell it purchase the correct year.. any lobe can be tuned. you better have serious parts for a 108 or 110 CL

Bolts up fine
Check the linkage out ;some aftermarket TB's come universal fit to suit all years ; some are year specific like stock ( 3 different versions by year )
Being aftermarket it may be different but stock GM '94 + TB has no provision for the TV cable hookup if you have a auto car
Ok, thanks guys. When I get to my brothers some time, I will check them out closer. That's a pretty good idea to sell his and get one that actually fits my car.
My studies have indicated that anything under about 112 degrees on the cam lobe centerlines is difficult to tune the TPI for. So that's not true? I want to use a mild cam, but with close centerlines, both for the midrange torque that provides, plus for that great lopey idle....
